Creative Challenge - Terms & Conditions
 

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
     
  2. To enter, entrants must create an art or craft work on canvas and incorporate the Eckersley’s logo swirl in their design. Entries must be submitted via the online entry form located on the website - www.eckersleys.com.au/challenge together with a digital photo of their finished artwork.
     
  3. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, participating suppliers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.
     
  4. Promotion commences 14/04/2008. Entries close on 18/05/2008. No entries will be received in-store.
     
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
     
  6. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
     
  7. This is a game of skill. All entries received will be judged at Suite 5, 50 Atchison Street, St Leonards, NSW 2065 on 26/05/2008. Three winners will be selected from three prize categories whose artwork designs are judged to be the most creative and imaginative from all designs received.
     
  8. The three winners will be notified by phone. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
     
  9. There are three prizes in total to be won – each being a $500 Eckersley’s Gift Voucher. Total prize value is AUD$1,500.00. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize contents or value. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter shall not be liable for any voucher that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Redemption of the voucher is subject to the terms and conditions specified on the voucher.
     
  10. If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian.
     
  11. In the event that a prize(s) is/are not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute prize(s) in its discretion to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification subject to any written directions from the various lottery Departments.
     
  12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
     
  13. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below, via email database@eckersleys.com.au or call (02) 9436 4899.
     
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of age, identity and residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
     
  15. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
