ACRYLICS IN ART TODAY
SUNDAY 26 SEPTEMBER

Learn all about the new possibilities that Acrylic paints provide today’s artists. At this workshop you will delve into the science of acrylic paints, its’ history and the unlimited versatility with the use of different mediums and additives. Understanding Acylics and mediums allows you to fully explore the endless possibilities, expanding your contemporary repertoire.

Participants will be supplied with equipment and Winsor & Newton materials for hands on work. Please bring an apron with you.

CONTEMPORARY OILS
SUNDAY 24 OCTOBER

The beauty created by traditional oil colours is admired by all, but for many artists the extended drying time or the use of hazardous solvents has turned them away from oil painting. Discover the variety of options available to today’s artist with a comprehensive explanation about the chemistry of traditional, fast dry and water mixable oil colours. The workshop will explore the unique properties of oil colour and provide you with innovative methods and new techniques for oil mediums.
