Jo Sonja’s Tannin Sealer can be used on wooden surfaces or masonite to prevent pitch around knots or uncured wood from coming to the surface. Where applied, Tannin Sealer will completely seal the entire surface. It you wish to stain or alter the wood surface please note that this will have to be done before applying.
Tannin Sealer may also be used as an adhesive in gold leafing techniques.
