Charbonnel Etching Inks have a low acidity and superior light fastness. The exceptional pigments have been finely milled and blended with high quality oils to meet the demands of any printmaker or artist.
Black 55985 - Highly viscous, difficult to wipe. Very deep slightly blue black.
Black F66 - Composition of Ivory and Carbon Black. Low viscosity, easy to wipe. Medium intensity.
Black RSR - Composition of Carbon Black. Viscous, powerful, supple black.
Black 55981 - Very viscous. Easier to wipe than 55985. Universal supple black.
Soft Black - Low viscosity easy to wipe. Very supple and relatively opaque. Can be used for lowering the tones of a plate which is too heavily etched.
Carbon Black - Low viscosity easy to wipe. Can be used in particular for test print runs.
Snow White TI - Titanium White. The Highest covering and colouring power.
Snow White RS - Zinc White. Less covering power and more transparent than Snow white TI. To be avoided on steel covered plates.
Covering White RS - Zinc white Barite Sulfate. Intermediate results between Snow White TI and Covering White RS
WhiteTransparent Lake - Mix with all Charbonnel Oil based inks to extend ink volume, add transparency and lighten color.
