Artist Bio:

My name is Heidi Duncan. I am a proud Burramadagal woman, a Social Worker, and a contemporary Indigenous artist. I am a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend — roles that deeply shape my identity and creative expression.

Through painting, weaving, and crocheting, I explore themes of healing and resilience, drawing on personal and collective experiences of past trauma. My art is a reflection of culture, connection, and the ongoing journey of restoration and strength within First Nations communities.

I work with acrylics, oils and water colours. Two of my pieces were recently in Blacktown Art Center in the Djiriyay and Revolution exhibition, and others are throughout SSWLHD.
