When applied with a precise fine point, the opaque laydown of these pencils allows darker colours to sit over lighter shades for detailed drawing and layering techniques. You can mix the colours on your surface to achieve a painterly effect and extend your colour palette. For more artistic effects, apply a solvent medium to your colour.
Derwent Lightfast pencils comply with ASTM D6901, the international standard for lightfast testing. Lightfastness may be affected if mixed with other products.
