Koala Watercolour Workshop

About this event

Koalas, which are sometimes called koala bears, are native to Australia. Koala means 'no drink'. They eat a variety of eucalypt leaves and they hug the trees to cool off!

We will paint this colorful Koala (they don’t have to be boring grey) using high quality Winsor & Newton Professional watercolour paints. Participants learn how to use dry brush technique to paint the Koala’s body to show the texture and furs on its skin. For the tree trunk we will use both wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques. We will finish the painting with some spatters to add more interest.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediate level.
