Join us for a vibrant and expressive art workshop where colour takes centre stage!
In this session, we'll be diving into the world of bold colours, using acrylic paints, as we each create a striking portrait of one of nature’s most powerful creatures—the mountain lion.
Participants will be encouraged to explore fearless use of vibrant, complementary colours to bring their big cat to life on canvas. One of the key techniques we’ll be focusing on is the “dry brush” method—perfect for adding expressive shading. We will add some detail, using line, as well as texture. This technique allows for subtle but impactful definition, giving your mountain lion both depth and personality.
Whether you're an experienced artist or just beginning your creative journey, this workshop offers a fun and engaging opportunity to play with colour theory and brush technique in a relaxed, supportive environment.
This workshop is suitable for beginner and intermediate levels.
All materials will be provided for use during the workshop.
