Winsor & Newton Professional Botanical Watercolour Workshop

Be inspired by the beauty of Botanical Art and discover the pleasure of working with exquisite Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolour paints, unrivalled in their pigment quality and performance.

Developed by our acclaimed Resident Artist, Carla Hananiah, the Botanical Collection harks back to a historic and traditional artist palette, with a modern twist. The Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolour Spotlight Colours showcase the suitability of potential mixes to create botanical and landscape colours.

Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolour paints have been used by Professional Botanists and Artists for over 150 years to create artworks, including the official scientific documentation of fauna species as well as the creation of paintings of historical significance.

Join us at one of our upcoming Winsor & Newton Botanical Art Workshops and learn how to create your own Botanical artwork.

You will be introduced to the Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolour Spotlight Colours and be guided through a series of Botanical Art activities where you can refine your skills in the process of Botanical painting. There will be an introduction to the Winsor & Newton world of watercolour, and participants will be encouraged to experiment and explore various colours, mixes, and applications.

Additionally, each participant will be provided with two templates from which to create their own Botanical artwork with the guidance of our professional guest artists.

All art materials used in the workshop will be provided, including Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolour paints and Fabriano Watercolour paper.
