In this project, we’re using FolkArt’s gorgeous range of Sugar Metallic and Premium Matte Acrylic Paints—plus a bit of flair from Terrazzo Flakes—to create three beautiful egg styles: shimmering metallics, delicate florals and textured terrazzo. What you will need
- FolkArt Sugar Metallic Acrylic Paints
- FolkArt Premium Matte Acrylic Paints
- FolkArt Terrazzo Flakes
- FolkArt Terrazzo 2-in-1 Sealer
- Jasart Synthetic Round Brushes
- Wooden Eggs
Instructions
Sugar Metallic Eggs
- Apply 2-3 coats depending on the desired texture. Let dry between coats.
Floral Eggs
- Basecoat each egg as shown using FolkArt Premium Matte Acrylic Paints. Let dry.
- Using small detail brushes and basic strokes, create floral designs on eggs as shown.
Terrazzo Eggs
- Basecoat each egg as shown using FolkArt Premium Matte Acrylic Paints. Let dry.
- Following basic instructions on the FolkArt Terrazzo Sealer, apply a thin coat and place Flakes as shown. Repeat until all sides of eggs are covered. Let dry.
- Apply a thin coat of Sealer over the entire egg and let dry.
