How to use Jasart Floater Frames

19 July 2019

Designed for stretched canvas & wooden artboards, it features a wider base that prevents damage to the panel cradle and a higher profile and deeper rabbet to protect the corners of your wood panel artwork. Jasart Floater Frames create the illusion that artwork is floating within the frame whilst protecting it at the same time. Each frame comes complete with Mounting & Hanging Hardware and clear assembly instructions.

How to assemble:

  1. Simply place your artwork into the front of the frame, centre your artwork using four spacers (these can be small offcuts of wood or scrap pieces of foam or card), these hold your artwork in place and avoid and movement during assembly.
  2. Secure the artwork in place using the Bugle head screws into the pre-drilled holes. Ensure the screws are secured tight so the head of the screw sits flat with the back of the frame.
  3. Measure a third of the way down each side of the frame for placement of the hanging hooks. Secure these hooks using the Button head screws.
  4. Place the foam dots onto the back bottom corners of the frame - this will ensure your frame will hang flat on the wall.

Additional equipment required but not included: Phillips head screwdriver, pencil, ruler and spacers.
