Jacquard Pearl Ex powdered pigments may be used any time a metallic or pearlescent effect is desired; mix them with acrylics, oils, printing inks, encaustics, alcohol inks, epoxy, glues, casting resins, clay, varnishes... the list goes on!
Try it mixed with Gum Arabic for a DIY metallic calligraphy ink, watercolour or for stamping. Gum Arabic produces a glossy, easy to brush or stamp on the paint that easily mixes and cleans up with water. Dries clear. You can also mix the Pearl Ex powdered pigments with the Pearl Ex Varnish for working on non porous surfaces.
When using on Polymer clays, the colour can vary depending on whether you are using white or black clay. To view a color chart of the results, click here.
