Pebeo Setacolor Fabric Paints are water-based textile paints use to decorate or personalise fabrics. They are suitable for use on light and dark fabrics that have at least 50% natural fibres to ensure the paint adheres to the fabric. Ideal for cotton, wool, mesh, jersey, velvet and even leather! Before painting your fabric, it is important to pre wash it to the remove sizing.
Pebeo Setacolor Fabric Paints are ready to use straight from the bottle and will dry in around one hour. The result is intense vivid colours on your fabric providing a good even coverage that are also lightfast.
Pebeo Setacolor Fabric Paints can be diluted with water to obtain watercolour effects and applied in a variety of ways, with a brush, stencil, stamp, sponge, splattered, or even screen printed. Why not try experimenting with different techniques to see what effects can be achieved. Your options are limited only by your imagination!
Once the paint is dry, iron (without steam) for five mins on the reverse side of the fabric to fix the paint using the heat setting appropriate for the fabric e.g. cotton = hot iron. Once heat set your painted fabric pieces can then be washed at 40°C.
Stir paint before use. Tools can be cleaned after use using warm soapy water.
