Pebeo Setacolor Leather Lightening Thinner is a dilutant that can be mixed with Pebeo Setacolor Leather Paints to change the consistency of the paints without changing their properties. This medium lets you dilute, thin, and lighten Pebeo Setacolor Leather paint colours.
Pebeo Setacolor Leather Lightening Thinner is particularly useful for creating dripping effects or for airbrush applications. Airbrushing is highly recommended by sneaker artists to customise sneakers when a high level of detail, uniformity and even finish is required. For airbrush application mix equal parts (1:1) thinner to paint and mix well. Clean your tools with soap and water for easy wash up. Always clean your airbrush with water and airbrush cleaner, then allow it to air dry before reuse.
To lighten or dilute paints, decant your paint into a separate container, then using a pipette add a small amount of Pebeo Setacolor Leather Lightening Thinner and mix thoroughly. Add more if required. The paint mixture can be applied to the leather surface using a brush or sponge.
Pebeo Setacolor Leather Lightening Thinner is a water-based medium and therefore clean-up is easy with soap and water.
