Art Spectrum Colourfix Primer is a fine-tooth, lightfast acrylic primer, that is quick drying. It is perfect for priming a wide variety of surfaces including canvas, paper, cardboard, ceramic, glass, plastic and even metal.
Apply Art Spectrum Colourfix Primer with a brush, sponge, or roller straight from the pot. Art Spectrum Colourfix Primer can also be tinted with Art Spectrum Pigmented Inks or Gouache to create new shades for your primer. All Colourfix Primers are also intermixable with one another.
Using the Clear Colourfix Primer will allow any underlying colours or natural shades of your surface to remain visible while still giving extra tooth for painting. These primers are a great way to turn any surface into a ‘canvas’ for you to paint and get creative on!
Art Spectrum Colourfix Primer is acid-free and suitable for a range of media such as pastels, charcoal, inks, oils, acrylics, and watercolours. It can even be used as an adhesive for collages or craft applications – the Clear primer is a great option for this.
