Gamblin Palette Knife Ladd

Gamblin Palette Knife Ladd is a professional quality painting knife designed for artists who work on a smaller scale or require greater control for detailed mark making. Featuring a compact facing area and firm flex, the Ladd provides precise handling for creating controlled strokes, fine textures and smaller applications of paint.

The Gamblin Palette Knife Ladd features a one piece FlexSteel™ blade made from non reflective carbon steel. The 1.5mm thick steel gradually tapers towards the edge, providing even tension, excellent manoeuvrability and the responsive flex needed to create crisp, deliberate marks.

Ideal for oil and acrylic painting, the small blade of the Gamblin Palette Knife Ladd makes it particularly useful for detailed palette knife work, smaller artworks and areas where precision is important. It can also be used for mixing colours, blending paint, applying small amounts of colour and creating textured effects directly on the painting surface.

The handle is handcrafted from sustainably grown, FSC certified birch. Each of the six Gamblin Palette Knife designs features a distinctive colourway for easy identification in the studio, with the Ladd finished with an Olive Green colour dip.
