Gamblin Palette Knife Raymond

Gamblin Palette Knife Raymond is a versatile professional quality painting knife designed to provide an ideal balance between broad paint application and precise control. Featuring a proven blade shape that creates crisp, tight edges and moves paint cleanly across a palette, the Raymond is a practical all purpose choice for mixing colour, mark making and detailed painting techniques.

The Gamblin Palette Knife Raymond features a one piece FlexSteel™ blade made from non reflective carbon steel. The 1.5mm thick steel gradually tapers towards the edge, providing even tension, excellent manoeuvrability and responsive flex. Its blade is large enough for effective colour mixing and expressive marks, while remaining short and firm enough for controlled applications and fine details.

Ideal for oil and acrylic painting, the Gamblin Palette Knife Raymond can be used to mix and blend colours on a palette or apply paint directly to the painting surface. Its versatile shape is suitable for creating crisp edges, smooth passages of colour, textured marks, impasto effects and precise details.

The handle is handcrafted from sustainably grown, FSC certified birch. Each of the six Gamblin Palette Knife designs features a distinctive colourway for easy identification in the studio, with the Raymond finished with a Portland Warm Grey colour dip.
