Liquitex Satin Fluid Medium

Liquitex Satin Fluid Medium will increase the colour depth and transparency of your acrylic paints while giving it a satin finish. It can also be used as a non-removable varnish to protect paintings and establish a satin surface sheen. This is semi-opaque when wet but will dry transparent.

Liquitex Satin Fluid Medium lowers viscosity of heavier bodied paints, giving increased its fluidity without affecting acrylic stability. It maintains paint adhesion, durability and archival quality.

Mix Liquitex Satin Fluid Medium into acrylic colour to create the viscosity and transparency you want - the more you add, the thinner and more transparent your colour will become. If bubbles appear when stirring, leave to sit while they rise and disappear.
