Northcote Raku White Clay is an open, white, sandy body ideally suited to raku firing and thermal shock situations of rapid heating and cooling without cracking or breaking. Equally good for hand building rugged sculptural forms. Fires to a stone like appearance. Fire at 1080-1300 degrees. Keep unused clay in an airtight container to avoid drying out.
