Description
Winsor & Newton Artists' Picture Cleaner is a natural oil emulsion containing ammonia which is designed to clean varnished paintings of dust, dirt and old varnish oxidation that may have occurred.
Shake bottle before and during use as settling does occur.
Start by applying a small amount of Winsor & Newton Artists' Picture Cleaner to a soft cloth or cotton wool pads. Gently and softly in circular motion clean small areas of your painting. When cleaning is complete remove any remaining cleaner with distilled turpentine off the painting.
Unvarnished paintings may also be treated with Artists' Picture Cleaner but great care is necessary and the process should be stopped immediately if any colour appears to be coming off the painting.
