Description
Winsor & Newton Professional Dammar Picture Varnish is used on oil paintings to give a permanent very high gloss finish and protect the painting from dirt, dust and evens out the paintings final appearance.
Before applying ensure your painting is completely dry (6-12 months). Winsor & Newton Professional Dammar Picture Varnish can be removed from paintings using Distilled Turpentine.
Prior to using ensure you are working in a well ventilated area. Shake the container vigorously before use to ensure the contents are evenly mixed. Hold the container upside down and spray for a couple of seconds - this will send a spray of propellant only out of the nozzle and clear it. (Ensure the process is repeated at the end of use to clear the nozzle of build up). Spray the can in a vertical postion at least 25-30cm away from your work. Avoid storing in temperatures below 15°C.
