Reeves Watercolour Turtle Painting Online Tutorial

In stock
Create your own detailed Turtle Watercolour painting using Reeves Fine Artists Watercolour, guided by professional artist Carla Hananiah. Duration 1hr 14 mins.

Explore the newly released Reeves Fine Artists Watercolour paint with a marine life inspired artwork – the graceful Sea Turtle of our coastal waters.

Experience the beauty of the clean, bright colours of the Reeves Fine Artist Watercolour range – ranging from rich fully saturated colour to the delicate beauty of a gentle wash.

Learn how to create a dynamic range of colours from a carefully selected limited palette of 5 colours to capture the gentle glory of the sea turtle gliding through the waters. Use the colours: Lemon Yellow Hue, Alizarin Crimson Hue, Ultramarine, Turquoise and Indian Red by themselves and also to mix a beautiful range of oranges, dusky purples and greens. Paired with the technique of masking, the turtle is painted in mostly a fun, loose wet in wet application watercolour technique.

Create with confidence, using the provided printed template and a support drawing which shows which areas to mask.

This video style online class is run by a Professional Artist, Carla Hananiah and will allow you to create with confidence, whilst being guided through each step of the painting at your own pace.
