Pen versus Pencil

Are you an inky obsessive or do you prefer pencils? This little video shows a page from Lost Ocean coloured in both pens and pencils, to allow you to compare the different results. Both mediums are great, but very different. Pens offer a vibrant POP of colour but they are all or nothing - no blending or layering here! Also, if you like to press hard, you might struggle with bleed through to the next page. Pencils on the other hand are super versatile and allow you to layer up and mix your colours and even apply them from dark to light. So, what's your favourite? Are you Team Pen or Team Pencil?!
