How do I get Back To School vouchers?

To obtain your Back To School Vouchers, you will need to apply online through the Service NSW website. To be eligible you must have a child who is attending school and eligible for government assistance.

If you are a parent or guardian of a student attending school in New South Wales, and your family meets certain income thresholds then you may be eligible.

You will need to provide proof of eligibility and relevant information such as your child’s name, school, dates of attendance and a valid student identification number. Once the application is approved, you will receive an email notification with a link that allows you to print or download the voucher.

What can I spend my Back To School NSW Vouchers on?

You can spend your Back To School NSW Vouchers on a variety of lesson resources and stationery items for the new school year. These include art diaries, major work materials and other essential supplies such as pens, pencils, coloured pencils/crayons, textas/highlighters, erasers, pencil cases, rulers, sharpeners, glue, scissors, calculators and geometry sets.

It is important to note that these vouchers cannot be redeemed for Gift Cards, cash or credit notes - they are only redeemable for tangible items that can be used in the classroom or for school projects. Additionally, services such as workshops or classes are not eligible for redemption with these vouchers.

Can I spend all 3 of my $50 Back To School NSW Vouchers in one transaction?

Yes, you can use all 3 of your Back To School NSW Vouchers towards the same purchase if the total amount is less than or equal to $150. If you do spend more than $150 on a single purchase, then you will need to cover the remaining cost yourself.

The Back to School NSW Vouchers are limited to three $50 vouchers per student, so once you have used your vouchers for a particular item or purchase, they cannot be used again for any other transaction at a later date.

What happens if I don’t use the full $50 value of one of my Back To School NSW vouchers?

If you have a Back To School NSW voucher for $50, but your transaction amount is less than the value of the voucher, then you will forfeit the remaining balance of that voucher.

For example, if your total purchase was only $30, then you would have forfeited $20 of the voucher's value. This means that any unused portion of the Back To School NSW voucher will be lost and cannot be used to make another purchase. When using these vouchers, it is best to spend the full amount in order to maximise your savings.

If you are close to your full voucher spend, small items such as pens, pencils and erasers can be added to your purchase to reach the full value of the vouchers.

How long do I have to use my Back To School NSW voucher?

You have until 30th June 2023 to use your Back To School NSW vouchers. So why not make sure you get the most out of them? Start planning ahead now so that you don't miss out on these great savings before the deadline.

After June 30^th, your Back to School vouchers will be ineligible for use and they will not be accepted as payment in store.

Can I return the products I have purchased with my Back To School NSW voucher?

If you would like to return products you have purchased with Back to School NSW Vouchers, please check that you are eligible to return at the “In Store” section of our Returns & Refunds page: https://www.eckersleys.com.au/returns-and-refunds

In store returns of products purchased using Back to School NSW Vouchers will be exchanged for store credit.

Can I redeem my Back To School NSW Voucher on your website?

You cannot redeem your Back To School NSW Voucher on our website. However, our in store staff are happy to accept Back To School Vouchers at any of our 15 NSW stores.

You can also contact our Online Customer Service Team to discuss Back To School NSW Voucher redemptions for items that are only available via our website, such as our Education Kits.
