Eckersley's is one of the largest fine art, craft and design supplies retailers in Australia. Our aim is to provide the tools and inspiration for your creative journey. Whether you are an inspired artist, a dabbler in the arts and crafts, a bride-to-be searching for invitation ideas, an architect requiring technical drawing materials, or even a teacher in the art and design field, you will be sure to find everything you need at Eckersley’s.
 
Many of the staff at Eckersley’s come from an arts or design background, which means they have the knowledge and advice to assist you with your current and future projects.

Where did we begin?
Eckersley’s first store opened in South Yarra in 1965 as N.S. Eckersley’s Pty Ltd and soon expanded to two more locations, one in Adelaide and the other in Melbourne. In 1984, Jasco Holdings Ltd, an Australian company (specialising in wholesale importing and distribution of stationery, art materials and business equipment), purchased Eckersley's, and continued to acquire art stores and re-brand them as Eckersley’s.

From 2005, Jasco launched five new retail stores called The Art n Craft Store, which were then re-branded as Eckersley's in November 2007. Around the same time, six more stores in Canberra were acquired, four called The Art Store and two The Craft Store. In June 2008, these six ACT stores were also re-branded as Eckersley's, bringing the current total to 24 Eckersley’s stores around Australia.

What else do we do?
Eckersley’s maintains a strong involvement in the arts and education sectors. We are active sponsors in the education community and we also supply art and design materials directly to schools. There are five Schools Divisions around the country.
