Using just a small amount of water to active, Artroc Plaster Bandages can be placed over a model or mould to create a hard, plaster form. A unique construction material, Artroc Plaster Bandages can be used to create models and sculptures. Use it as a stand-alone material or in conjunction with wire, papier maché or a mould.
To use:
Using strong shears, cut the ArtRoc cloth into smaller strips.
Activate the ArtRoc by dipping it into water.
Gently squeeze out any excess water.
Layer the Artroc cloth over your model or mould.
Allow to dry. Drying time will vary depending on room temperature and how many layers of ArtRoc have been used. It will take approximately 6 – 8 hours for three layers of ArtRoc to dry in a moderate room temperature of around 20°C.
Care instructions: DO NOT throw the ArtRoc water down domestic sinks as the plaster residue will block drains; throw the water outside into a garden. Be careful to have a well-ventilated area. Encourage the children not to shake the ArtRoc, as excessive plaster powder will be released into the air. This is not good for breathing or for cleaning.
