About this event
Hundreds of people have attended the Expresso Oil Painting workshops and have been blown away by their own talent.
If you are an Absolute beginner, this workshop is for you. The goal is to at least 90% complete a portrait in 3 hours, using a tried and tested method that teaches you the tools and gives you the confidence to paint any genre. If you "can't draw a straight line" - have never painted anything before - we want, you in this class.
Painted with acrylics and want to try Oils? We will get you up to speed in no time.
We work closely with you every step of the way - from a blank board to a work of art in three hours.
Every child is born with natural artistic talents - and somehow life beats that out of them. We will engage that inner child and re-ignite a passion for creativity.
** We use no turps or other toxic mediums, just straight paint from the tube.**
Artistic Facilitators
Lynette Gawne and James Brown are two artists who have been running Expresso workshops since 2020. They manage the Arts Collective, a group of emerging artists in SE Queensland - and run the Australian Artists Awards for Emerging Artists with $7000 of prizes and a special Eckersley’s Encouragement award of $600 of art materials.
