Giraffe Watercolour Workshop with Ferie Sadeghi
About this event
The giraffe is a large African hoofed mammal. It is the tallest living animal and the largest ruminant on Earth.
We will teach you to create a simple two-colour background with wet-on-wet watercolour technique. Animal eyes are very important, they show their character, so we will first carefully paint the eyes with long eyelashes. After the eyes we will paint the Giraffe’s head and neck with those distinct bold marks.
At the end we will use a quick wet-on-dry technique to add some shadows to the ears and to one side of the head and neck to create depth. This workshop is ideal for beginners and intermediate levels. We will use artist quality Winsor & Newton watercolour paint for this workshop.
