GOLDEN Clear Levelling Gel will increase the transparency and shine of your acrylic paints and also provides a leveling quality to other GOLDEN Acrylic products. Using GOLDEN Clear Levelling Gel will give your artwork a film boasting excellent chemical, water, and ultraviolet resistance. Note that this product is not a varnish or topcoat and is not a replacement for casting resins.
With its 100% acrylic polymer formulation, GOLDEN Clear Levelling Gel has a unique stringy consistency that dries to a flexible, high gloss film. The gel will appear milky white when wet however it dries clear.
When using GOLDEN Clear Levelling Gel ensure you apply your layer thinly. The product may craze when applied over 1.5mm thick. It can be applied on any non-oily surface and should not be mixed with Oil Paints. GOLDEN Acrylic Paints will dry quickly to be painted over; however complete drying of your acrylic paints will take longer.
Mix GOLDEN Clear Levelling Gel with GOLDEN Acrylic Colours to alter their transparency and sheen. To thin your mixture, add water or relevant GOLDEN Mediums. For a slower drying acrylic paint, add GOLDEN Retarder to the mixture!
Clean up of GOLDEN Clear Levelling Gel is simple with soap and water.
