Jacquard SolarFast Film is a specially coated, high-quality inkjet film designed for producing custom negatives used in SolarFast printing on fabric or paper. The film offers excellent ink density and moisture resistance, making it ideal for creating crisp, high-contrast images. Its ultra-thin polyester base ensures optimal clarity when exposing prints to sunlight or UV light, helping achieve sharp results with defined highlights and details.
Each Jacquard SolarFast Film sheet features a slightly tacky print side that holds ink well and ensures proper exposure. This is the side that should always face up during the printing process. The reverse side is waterproof and can be wiped clean after use, making the film reusable for multiple exposures. For added contrast or when using printers with lower ink output, two printed negatives can be layered together.
Each pack contains 8 x 8.5" x 11" (216 x 279mm) sheets, suitable for use with most standard inkjet printers. Jacquard SolarFast Film offers a reliable and consistent option for artists and makers looking to create professional-quality photo prints and detailed designs with Jacquard SolarFast dyes.
