The Jasart Byron Matt Medium & Varnish can be used as quick-drying finishing varnish applied on top of acrylic paints to produce a tack-free clear film after only one or two coats. Alternatively, using this medium with your acrylic paints will increase fluidity and decrease gloss!
The polymer-based medium can be applied thickly or thinly depending on your preference and desired outcome. The Jasart Byron Matt Medium & Varnish can also be mixed with acrylic paints to increase fluidity and reduce viscosity and gloss. Experiment with new styles and techniques in your artwork using this matt medium and varnish!
Due to its matting agent, it can be used as a glazing medium but colours may appear darker. To use as a varnish, apply Jasart Byron Matt Medium & Varnish with a brush or roller. Clean up is simple with just warm, soapy water required.
