The Matisse Structure Fundamental CMYK Set features the four ink colours used in the printing process - cyan, magenta, yellow and black, plus a matt varnish. This set is an excellent introduction into colour theory and can be used to replicate Pop and Poster Art designs throughout the decades.
The set contains four 75ml tubes of Matisse Structure Formula paint, a rich impasto acrylic paint made using high quality pigments and ingredients to create a premium archival acrylic paint. Due to its heavy body, Matisse Structure Formula Paints are suitable for application with a brush to create textured marks or bold flat colour on the canvas. Alternatively, use a palette knife for layers of rich thick paint to add depth and texture to your painting. The paint is water resistant, permanent when dry, and totally flexible in both light and heavy impasto applications. Matisse Structure Formula paint is compatible with Matisse Mediums to achieve alternative finishes, extending the drying time etc.
Also included in the Matisse Structure Fundamental CMYK Set is a tube of Matisse MM6 Polymer Matt Varnish. This non-yellowing medium can be used as a final protective coating over acrylic paintings when a flat and matt look is desired. The varnish dries clear.
