The Pebeo Deco Gilding Paste is used in the preparation of applying gold leaf to your art and craft pieces. Ready-to-use straight from the bottle, it is perfect for adding to clay objects, pictures, cards, jewellery, wood, resin or pour art.
This light yet strong adhesive paste has been designed specifically for gilding. The best way to apply the Pebeo Gilding paste is by using a brush to smooth over the surface. A fine brush will help you achieve delicate flakes and hints of gold, while larger brushes are ideal for when you are adding large, bold blocks of gold leaf.
When working with the Pebeo Deco Gilding paste, your surface should be clean and dry, free of debris or dust, to ensure it evenly captures any gilding leaves applied to the area. Once the paste has been applied, wait a minute or so before applying the gilding leaves. The paste should be completely dry within 10-15 minutes. Once dry, use a soft bristle brush to wipe away excess loose gilding leaves, exposing the brilliant metallic detail.
Wash tools and brushes with warm soapy water.
