Discover the world of pouring and fluid art with this comprehensive Pebeo Pouring Experiences Kit. “Pour painting” is where flowable paint (created by combining pouring medium and acrylic paint) is applied directly to a painting surface such as canvas without using brushes. The paint flows over the surface creating interesting abstract patterns. This type of art is achievable for all skill levels, its fun, quick, great for experimenting and even learning about colour mixing. It is also messy so gloves and an apron are essential tools!
The Pebeo Pouring Experiences Kit contains a selection of pre-mixed, ready-to-use coloured acrylic paint and pouring medium. Suitable for a variety of techniques from clean or dirty pours, spatula technique and upturned-glass technique (this is where you add multiple colours of mixture into one cup without mixing them together, then place a wooden board, panel or canvas surface on top of the cup before turning it upside down. The mixture flows out without the colours becoming muddy). Try adding silicone oil into the cup mixture prior to the pour. It is an additive used to create cells on your artwork. Only a few drops are needed (depending on the effect required). Glitter can also be added into the cup or once the pour has been completed to create interesting effects.
This kit is where you get to experiment and have fun! Instructions provided. Dry time is approximately 24 hours.
