Plaid Mod Podge Photo Transfer Medium is an excellent addition to craft rooms, allowing DIYers, hobbyists, artists, and more to transfer images onto most porous and semi-porous surfaces!
Plaid Mod Podge Photo Transfer Medium works to transfer either black and white or colour images onto a wide range of surfaces such as wood, canvas and even fabric. The medium is applied thickly but evenly to the image side of a photocopy design. Then, place the image onto your chosen surface and smooth out any wrinkles. Once dry (approx. 24 hours) a damp sponge is used to slowly and carefully rub away the paper to reveal your design.
To waterproof your design, varnish can be applied over the top after using the Photo Transfer Medium as above. For designs transferred to fabrics, items can be washed in cool water or gently hand washed and left to hang dry. Do not tumble dry.
Alternatively, to create a decal, place a photocopied image covered in Plaid Mod Podge Photo Transfer Medium on a piece of wax paper or silicone craft mat. Once dry, use a damp sponge to rub away the paper to reveal a decal. The decal can then be applied to non-porous surfaces such as plastic or glass.
