Posca markers for rock painting are ideal for beginners. These water-based and non-toxic markers offer no clean up, no waste and a fast dry time. Did you know that if you make a mistake, simply wait for the Posca marker to dry, and then paint over! Posca markers are flexible enabling you to create fine detailed outlines without relying on a steady hand with a brush. Each marker in the Posca Marker Rock Art Set is a bullet tip capable of creating 1.3mm line widths.
Rocks painted with Posca markers don’t chip or fade if kept indoors. An acrylic paint sealer or varnish should be used over the rock design if the rocks are going to be placed outdoors to ensure longevity.
Posca Markers need to be primed prior to use. Shake the marker vigorously with the cap still attached, remove the lid, then press the marker tip several times on a spare piece of paper, this will activate the ink flow. Markers can be stored vertically or horizontally if the cap is secured.
