Shamrock Craft Hessian Square Pack contains pieces of hessian that are perfect for a variety of art and craft applications. Hessian is a natural, open weave fabric that is made from the jute plant. This sustainable and biodegradable material is strong and durable, making it perfect for crafts, decorative arts, home decor and in gardening projects such as needle punching, weaving, embroidery hoop art. It’s also a great material for making flower arrangements or wreaths.
Shamrock Craft Hessian Squares can easily be cut with scissors and glued with specialist fabric glue or a hot glue gun. Use the pieces for DIY decorations, collage, and mixed media art. Alternatively, you can wrap the pieces around canvas or board to make frames and memo boards. For needlecrafters, stretch your hessian over an embroidery hoop and sew with wool or weave fabric scraps.
