Super Sculpey Medium Blend Clay is a neutral grey non-toxic oven-bake clay. This hybrid clay is a harder than Super Sculpey but softer than Super Sculpey Firm. It offers you the flexibility to build, shape, carve or hold fine details with ease whilst still being firm enough to hold its shape. The grey colour of this clay makes it easy to see and photograph small details in sculptors' clay creations.
Super Sculpey Medium Blend Clay has the advantage of blending smoothly, minimising sanding time. This clay is popular with professional sculptors and model makers but is also suitable for beginners. Extra clay can be stored and re-used without drying outas this clay will remain soft until it is baked in your home oven!
Bake in the middle shelf of a domestic oven at 130°C for 15 minutes for each 1/2cm thickness. Do not microwave. Ensure your work area is covered as uncured clay may damage unprotected work surfaces.
After baking, Super culper Medium Clay can be drilled, carved, sanded, and painted with water-based acrylic paints to create colourful pieces of art.
Knead clay prior to use to make it soft and workable. Block has easy to cut score marks.
