Using Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolour paints, participants will paint this beautiful flower using a variety of yellow shades and tones to illustrate the petals.
Participants will learn various painting and layering techniques to build up the core and the seeds in the middle. Learn how to mix yellow and blue to create secondary colours of green for the leaves and stems. For the final touch we use Winsor & Newton Gouache paint (an opaque white) mixed with yellow to suggest seeds.
Participants will use 100% cotton Italian Fabriano Artistico Watercolour paper.
This workshop is ideal for beginners and intermediate levels who want to learn basic watercolour techniques and colour mixing.
