Enjoy the premium results of Liquitex Professional Pouring Medium and Acrylic Colour. Discover and be guided through multiple pouring techniques to explore and gain confidence in creating your own unique pour.
Liquitex Pouring Medium dries to a high gloss finish with exceptional consistency. The techniques covered in this online tutorial include a dirty pour, stripe and swipe, droplets and balloon, lasagna pour, puddle pours and agate effect. These are demonstrated step-by-step on individual artworks during the online tutorial to showcase each technique separately as well as combining two techniques in one pour.
Additional inspiration, other colour combinations and the technique of collaging with acrylic pouring skins is also demonstrated. Step through the process of pouring at your own pace.
Experiment with a limited palette of 4 Liquitex Professional Acrylic colours that range from the incredibly impasto Heavy Body Acrylic Colour Titanium White and Bright Aqua Green, to the ultra-fluid, highly pigmented Acrylic Ink in a shimmering Iridescent Rich Copper and intensely rich Phthalo Blue (Green Shade). These colours have been specifically selected to mix together beautifully, whilst balancing transparent and opaque pigmented colour to create various effects.
Your artwork will be created on a Jasart Round Wooden Panel, which offers a smooth solid surface, allowing paint to flow freely for optimum poured effects.
We recommend that you watch the video tutorial in its entirety before commencing, so preferred techniques and effects can be selected to try out on your own artwork.
