Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Decorative Paints are a speciality paint that can be applied to porcelain, earthenware and ceramics to mimic the look of glazed ceramics without the need for a kiln. To cure the paint onto the surface, bake in a conventional oven for 30-35 minutes at 150°C. Once dry the paint colour is permanent, microwave and dishwasher safe.
Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Decorative Paints can be blended together to create a wider colour palette to work with and are available in a gloss finish. They are also compatible with Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Markers where fine detail is required.
Stir the contents of the paint pot with a craft stick before use to ensure the paint is completely intermixed as some settling can occur. We recommend you clean your surface prior to decoration with isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue and finger marks. Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Decorative Paints can be applied by using a brush, sponge, a stencil, or a stamp. Tools can be cleaned after use using soap and warm water.
Allow piece to dry for at least 24 hours to ensure paint is dry prior to baking in the oven. Place initially in a cold oven Once the temperature reaches 150°C, bake for 30-35 minutes. The colours will mimic a glazed enamelled appearance. Leave the piece to cool slowly in the oven before removing.
Note: Only surfaces that are not intended to come into contact with food should be decorated.
