The Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Outliner is a water-based thick paint in a squeeze tube featuring a nozzle applicator. It is used to draw outlines and designs on ceramics such as earthenware, terracotta, and porcelain. The fine nozzle tip allows for a raised and detailed outline prior to applying colour from the Pebeo Porcelaine Paint range inside the outlines you have created.
Before use, unscrew the nozzle tip and pierce the tube using the nozzle tip. Once the nozzle tip is re-screwed back on it is now ready to use. Gently squeeze the tube in an even and slow action across the ceramic surface. If you are not confident drawing your design freehand directly onto the ceramic surface, you can out use a water-based marker to draw your design out first drawing over the lines you created using the Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Outliner. (Ensure the surface you are applying is clean and dry).
Once your outline design is complete. Let dry for around 30 minutes before applying blocks of colour from the Pebeo Porcelaine Paint range inside the outlines you have created.
Your creation can now be placed in a conventional oven at 150°C for 35 minutes for the paint to cure. Leave the piece to cool slowly in the oven before removing. Once set your decorated pieces are dishwasher safe are (on the top shelf), microwave safe and resistant to most solvents and detergents at least 24 hours after curing.
Avoid placing any paint on surfaces that may come into contact with food or the mouth such as rims.
