Pebeo Setasilk Paint Set is the ideal introduction into silk painting. The set includes highly pigmented colours in 20ml bottles enough to complete a few small projects.
Colours can be intermixed to create a wider colour palette and the colours in the Pebeo Setasilk Paint Set can be used on all types of silk. The water-based paint does not alter the feel of the fabric particularly useful for more delicate fabrics like silk. Instead, it absorbs into the fabric fibres rather than sitting on the surface like some paints can do.
Apply Pebeo Setasilk with pure sable brushes. Clean up is easy as brushes require no special chemicals and can be cleaned with soap and water after use.
Colours will air dry after only a few minutes giving you a fast worktime. Once dry, heat set Pebeo Setasilk with an iron for 3-4 minutes on the reverse side of the fabric with a hot iron. After heat setting leave for 48 hours, your fabric can then be handwashed and dry cleaned.
