Pebeo Vitrail Lightening Medium is an additive used with Pebeo Vitrail Glass Paints. The transparent liquid will lighten or extend your paint colours so you have a longer working time. It is also useful for artists wanting to add subtle shades or creating depth in stained-glass effects.
Ready-to-use straight from the bottle, simply mix the Pebeo Vitrail Lightening Medium with a brush before applying to your chosen surface. Experiment with your ratio of medium to paint to get the effect you’re looking for! Droppers can also be used to apply to create interesting effects on your artwork either combined with paint or directly from the bottle.
Pebeo Vitrail Lightening Medium can also be used as a protective final coat on your artwork to prevent scratches. Once your artwork is completely dry apply two coats for best protective results. This medium dries to a high-gloss finish.
