The ink cartridges used for Parallel pens is a special formulated dye based ink that can be mixed with other colours. It is only to be used exclusive to Pilot Parallel pens and not recommended for any other writing instruments. Mixable color refills can be switched in the pen to create gradient colour lines in addition to standard colors.
