Create high gloss and wet-look artwork with Liquitex Gloss Pouring Mediums. It can be applied to your acrylic paintings to achieve a water-resistant glass-like finish, or mixed with your favourite acrylic media to create fluid effects and flow painting. It can even be poured onto your artwork to form even "puddles".
Use as a regular fluid medium extender, simply adjust your ratio of medium to paint or ink to achieve the desired consistency. When used with acrylic paint, the original opacity of the paint will be retained.
Liquitex Gloss Pouring Mediums lowers the viscosity of heavier bodied paints, giving increased flow. Therefore, it extends your colour further and will not affect colour stability.
Ensure your poured surface is level and your poured fluid won't crack when dry.
Suitable for use on canvas and wood panels.
Apply with a brush or simply pour your mixed colour and medium mix.
Fully intermixable with all Liquitex products, including Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic Paint and Liquitex Acrylic Inks.
Liquitex Gloss Pouring Medium is lightfast, archival quality, flexible, non-yellowing and permanent when dry. Suitable for use with acrylic media only.
