Using the Global Colours Professional Fabric Medium with acrylic paints will make them suitable for textile painting, stencilling, stamping, and printing on natural fibre fabrics. Mix equal parts of Global Colours Professional Fabric Medium to the acrylic paint and stir thoroughly to ensure it is fully combined.
Once your design is painted and dry, the fabric paint can be heat set with an iron. Place on a medium setting for approximately 5-10 minutes. Iron on the reverse side of the painted design with a cloth covering the printed fabric. The design will then become permanent and flexible on the fabric. The finished textile artwork can be washed and dry cleaned after heat setting.
The Global Colours Professional Fabric Medium is water-based. Clean equipment, hands, and work surfaces with soap and water. Test on a small area of the fabric to determine its suitability.
